Members UpdateConstitution Approved!
We are so thankful for the 700+ members who showed up for the February 22 business meeting to vote on the proposed constitution, which passed with a 95% affirmation! The meeting was a great time of worship, celebration, and reminder that we are truly a family united in Christ and mission.

How to Reaffirm Your Membership
If you did not reaffirm during the business meeting, you can now reaffirm your membership online. This reaffirmation opportunity is available for 60 days and transfers your membership from the previous constitution to the new one.
This is only available to current members of Heritage and a separate form is necessary for each member (i.e., husband and wife require two forms).
Schedule of Upcoming Members Meetings
- Lay Elder Vote – March 22 | 12 PM in the Worship Center | Please pick up children promptly after the second service.
What’s Next?
Now that our church has adopted the new constitution, one of the first steps is the addition of lay elders. In anticipation of a potential approval of the new constitution, several trusted men of our church expressed a desire to pursue eldership in keeping with 1 Timothy 3:1.
Therefore, over the last several months these men have entered into a process which served to examine and prepare them for the potential role of lay elder at Heritage Baptist Church. Over the next month, we’ll be providing more videos and opportunities to hear from these men so that you are prepared to vote on them at a special business meeting at the end of March.

Pastoral Prayer Update
As we continue to lift up the needs of our church community, we want to take a moment to focus our prayers on our pastors. These faithful leaders carry the weight of shepherding, teaching, and caring for the spiritual well-being of others, often while navigating personal challenges of their own. Praying for our pastors is vital—not only for their strength, wisdom, and protection, but also to encourage and support them as they lead with humility and faith. Let’s come together to intercede on their behalf, trusting God to refresh and sustain them in every season.
Phase 2: The Next Chapter of Growth
On Sunday, April 13th our members voted to move forward with the proposed worship center renovations, which has now become the UNITED building initiative.
If you have questions, we invite you to visit the UNITED page or our Building Renovations FAQ page.
