Our broken world leads to many heartaches and struggles. Heritage provides various services and resources in order to help individuals find freedom and joy in the midst of difficulties.
Heritage Baptist Church prioritizes the needs of our covenant members when it comes to pastoral and premarital counseling. If you are not a member of Heritage, our staff will make every effort to support you and/or guide you to additional resources, but we cannot guarantee availability to meet with you.Â

Pastoral Counseling
We seek to provide bible-based, pastoral counsel for individuals, couples, and families who are going through difficult situations.
Pastors can provide spiritual and practical help in dealing with sin, relationship struggles, and spiritual confusion.
Premarital Counseling
Premarital counseling is an important part of preparing for marriage. Heritage has pastors and lay leaders who are equipped to show you what God’s word has to say about marriage and to share practical insights for a stronger relationship.
Professional Counseling
Heritage has partnered with Hill City Counseling to provide professional counseling services (with a team of Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists, Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed Residents, and Graduate Interns) for those in the Lynchburg area. Members of Heritage may utilize a discounted rate for their first twelve sessions at Hill City Counseling.
Looking for a Support Group?
GraceCare Support and Recovery Groups provide opportunities for the body of Christ to minister to one another.
The groups meet on a regular basis to provide fellowship, encouragement, practical help, and support for those going through difficult situations.
