For nearly 50 years God has continued to bring like-minded believers to our church leading us to expand. We have never sought to build a big church but to be faithful with all that God has given us.
Hear more of this story of growth and grace in this interview on the history of HBC.

When we’re united in giving sacrifically we’re able to provide for ongoing ministries while also providing for upcoming building needs. This sacrificial giving includes gifts that are above your normal patterns of giving.
Sacrifical giving looks different for everyone. This chart may help you prayerfully consider how much you can give towards our building campaign. Remember that this is not about compulsion – it’s about joy & worship!
What could sacrificial giving look like?

“The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:6–7
If our 760 giving households each gave the above noted midpoint of $180 per month, we would reach our goal of $4.82M in 3 years. Could some be able to sacrifice and give more out of the abundance that God has provided? Yes! Could some give less and it still be a great sacrifice? Yes!

Join together in prayer for:
- Our church to be unified in our love for Jesus and our participation in mission together.
- The person and work of Jesus Christ to continue to be proclaimed boldly through the people and ministries of Heritage.
- God’s great grace to move us into deeper levels of affection for Him and His mission.
- God to grant wisdom to each of us in the amount of giving.
- Our individual and collective responses to God’s power and grace to be marked by joyful surrender, sacrifice, and obedience.
“Now the full number of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one said that any of the things that belonged to him was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles were giving their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. There was not a needy person among them, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of what was sold and laid it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. Thus Joseph, who was also called by the apostles Barnabas (which means son of encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus, sold a field that belonged to him and brought the money and laid it at the apostles’ feet.“ Acts 4:32-27
How will giving to the building work?
On May 18, 2025, we’ll have the opportunity to pledge together our specific donations towards the campaign through the campaign pledge cards. These cards will provide opportunities for one-time gifts as well as opportunities for giving on a monthly or annual basis over the next few years.
There are many ways to give including cash and online donations. We also provide a secure way for you to donate stocks, crypto, DAF, QCD’s, and more through a special online platform.

Phase 3: A potental new chapter for ministry growth
The following is a potential next step in our campus development journey—including an all-new, multi-level education building that could be constructed along the exterior Plaza wall. This proposed addition would be thoughtfully designed to address several growing ministry needs as we continue to care for and serve our church family with excellence.
The Lord holds the future of Heritage in His hands. Therefore, we walk with confidence while also seeking wisdom for the years ahead.
A Convenient Space for Senior Adults
This new building could feature several classrooms dedicated to our senior adult communities. Its close proximity to both the Worship Center and the Plaza would make it a convenient and accessible option, offering a smoother and safer journey to classes and worship gatherings.
A More Unified Kids Ministry Experience
This phase also presents an opportunity to reimagine how we serve children and their parents. Under this proposal, all ages within our Kids Ministry would be brought together into a centralized part of campus, offering a simpler and more secure environment.
Renovated Chapel for Grades 1–4
With the nursery moved, the chapel basement could then be renovated to serve our 1st–4th grade students. This upgraded space would house their classrooms and our engaging BlastZone experience, creating a centralized check-in and pick-up location for families.
