Pastor Nathan became our senior pastor in 2012, and he passionately preaches the Bible. His heart has been shaped by growing up in Tanzania. He fiercely loves God, his family, and people.
Pastor Kent Gregory
Kent has been a part of HBC staff since February 1998. He enjoys all things sports, being outdoors, and building projects.

Tara joined the HBC staff in September of 2010. She enjoys spending time with family, shopping, and being outdoors.
Pastor Ben Melin
PASTOR OF ADMINISTRATION
Ben began at HBC in 2015 after serving in the Army as an Infantry Officer. He enjoys playing games with his family, hiking, splitting wood, and building fires.
Greg is a Lynchburg native who loves the Lord and his family. He’s a Master Craftsman, part-time artist, and full-time Dad and Grandad.

Jeremiah joined the staff at Heritage in 2021. He loves the outdoors, especially hiking, camping, and disc golf. He grew up in a big family in Roanoke and loves every time all the siblings can get together.

Pastor Kevin Haglund
PASTOR OF WORSHIP & OUTREACH MINISTRIES
Kevin came on staff in 2017 and enjoys the great outdoors—hiking, biking, camping, etc.—family movie and game nights, and all things music, as well as putting mission and discipleship back in the hands of ordinary people.
DIRECTOR OF TECHNICAL PRODUCTIONS
Sean joined the HBC staff in March of 2018. He enjoys camping with his wife, Amelia, and daughters, Aubrey and Kinsley. His favorite T-Shirt is one his wife gave him for Christmas that reads: “World’s okayest golfer.”

Adam has been a worship pastoral assistant at Heritage since January 2021. He has been happily married to his wife Kaitlyn since October 2019. He enjoys music, the outdoors, reading, and loves spending time with God, family, and friends.

Tony came on staff in 1992. He enjoys hiking and bike riding with Sue and playing with their dog, Zion.

Isaiah joined our team in 2018. He comes from a big family in Roanoke and is married to an Island girl from West Papua. He enjoys baseball, disc golf, hiking, and anything that involves an adrenaline rush. He seeks to never waste a moment, and live for eternity.
Elizabeth joined our team in 2019. She loves traveling, being outside, spending time with the people she loves, and drinking coffee.

In 2014 Mike began his role on staff with HBC. He and his wife, Susan, enjoy camping, traveling to new places, and anything outdoors.

Del has been on staff since 1995 and enjoys hiking the Colorado Rockies. His wife, Anne, enjoys being a homemaker and teaching private piano lessons. They both like raising a home garden and trying to keep up with their 8 grandchildren.

Pastor Jeff Scott
PASTOR OF LEADERSHIP SUPPORT
In 1995, Jeff began working at HBC and enjoys reading about people of history, playing golf, and running. He is also a huge Red Sox and Duke basketball fan. He is passionate about discipleship and leadership development. He will often say ‘Discipleship is what I cannot not do.’
Pastor Allen Waldrep
PASTOR OF ORGANIZATIONAL PROJECTS
Pastor Allen came on staff in 2003. He enjoys most things tech, riding bikes with his wife Robin, and unwinding while doing yardwork. They have three grown children who bring the *grandkids* when visiting!
Ruth joined the HBC team in the stone ages. She loves the great outdoors, swimming and hiking, crafting, crocheting, sewing, and spoiling the Grands. She especially enjoys relaxing in a hammock with a good book to read.
Morgan joined the HBC staff in 2017. She loves to be outside (especially at the beach or anywhere on the water). She also loves to write, eat ice cream, snuggle with her polydactyl cat, and take walks with her family.
