Members Update

Governance & Growth at HBC

On April 27th Pastor Nathan introduced the proposed, new constitution and provided an overview of the document. All members are encouraged to read the proposed constitution in preparation for a vote at our Annual Business Meeting in August. We are also providing opportunities to ask questions at upcoming Town Halls or by emailing questions@hbclynchburg.com.

Schedule of Upcoming Town Hall & Business Meetings

Town Halls will be added as needed. Dates are subject to change. We will keep this page updated with the most current dates and times.

Pastoral Prayer Update

As we continue to lift up the needs of our church community, we want to take a moment to focus our prayers on our pastors. These faithful leaders carry the weight of shepherding, teaching, and caring for the spiritual well-being of others, often while navigating personal challenges of their own. Praying for our pastors is vital—not only for their strength, wisdom, and protection, but also to encourage and support them as they lead with humility and faith. Let’s come together to intercede on their behalf, trusting God to refresh and sustain them in every season.

Documents & Resources

Over the next several months we will be posting links to documents and other resources in order that members can review details about the upcoming conversations about governance and growth at HBC.

Phase 2: The Next Chapter of Growth

On Sunday, April 13th our members voted to move forward with the proposed worship center renovations, which has now become the UNITED building initiative.

If you have questions, we invite you to visit the UNITED page or our Building Renovations FAQ page.
