Youth Tomorrow Night at 6:45 PM

During the month of November, Syri will be teaching a series called “Learning Lament: A Look at Psalms of Lament.” As we study three different Psalms over the next few weeks, we will learn what lament looks like in the life of a Christ follower and how we can invite God into our pain in a way that will ultimately lead us to trust Him more.

Tomorrow night, we will look at Psalm 77 and how that passage teaches us that in the midst of difficult seasons in life, we should remember the works we’ve seen God do in the past while lifting our prayers to Him continually.

Some questions to consider:

  • Have you ever been in a situation in life where you felt that you needed to remind yourself of what miracles God has done for you in the past in order to encourage yourself in the storm?
  • Can you name a time when you have personally seen God come through for you in the past?
  • Have you ever had a personal “song in the night”? A song that would remind you of the goodness of God when you are hurting?
