Youth Tomorrow Night at 6:45 PM

Tomorrow night, Syri Pendleton (Youth PA) will continue our series called “Learning Lament: A Look at Psalms of Lament.” As we continue to study different Psalms over the next few weeks, we will learn what lament looks like in the life of a Christ-follower and how we can invite God into our pain in a way that will ultimately lead us to trust Him more.

This Wednesday night, we will study Psalm 22 and will look at how it teaches us that in the midst of difficult circumstances, we can make bold requests of the Lord and that bringing our requests to the Lord ultimately leads us to trust Him more.

 Questions to Consider:

  • What do we learn about God from Psalm 22?
  • Have you ever asked anything of God that required a lot of faith? Share what that was like.
  • Is there anything happening in your life right now where you need to make a bold request from God?
  • Have you ever been in a situation where it felt like God was not listening to your prayers? How did that situation turn out?
