The Gospel Shape of Eden

The Garden of Eden reveals the Gospel pattern that would unfold throughout Scripture. After mankind's fall into sin, God pursues Adam and Eve, confronts their disobedience, and provides both a promise of redemption and animal skins to cover their shame. This pattern points directly to Jesus, who fulfills it perfectly by pursuing us in our sin, confronting our brokenness, and providing the ultimate covering through His sacrifice. The story that began in Eden culminates in Revelation with a restored garden where God dwells with His people, teaching us that we cannot reach God through our own efforts but only through faith in Christ.
