Jesus Bears the Father's Name
The profound relationship between Jesus and God the Father reveals essential truths about salvation and eternal life. Jesus possesses extraordinary power from the Father, including authority over life and death and the power to execute judgment. Yet, even displaying that power on earth - people misunderstood Him. What can we learn about Jesus from the relationship He has with the Father?This relationship demonstrates complete dependence, mutual honor, and perfect submission. The Father testifies about Jesus through John the Baptist, miraculous works, and Scripture, which primarily exists to point to Christ.
