A Lighthouse in the Darkness

Many people view the books of 1 and 2 Chronicles as a dry recap of Israel's history—the place "where Bible reading plans go to die." But when viewed through the lens of God's overarching plan, Chronicles transforms into a magnificent lighthouse of hope and a beacon of grace in stormy waters. In this sermon, we walk through the entirety of 1 and 2 Chronicles, exploring how history is truly theology working out in time, space, and people. While the books of Kings often focus on covenant failure and judgment, Chronicles highlights covenant continuity, mercy, and the enduring line of David.
