2025
Fall MinistriesWelcome to Fall 2025 at HBC
We are so excited about the upcoming fall opportunities at Heritage. Our prayer is that each class, program, or group that meets this fall will grow in a deeper knowledge of who Christ is, what He has done, and how we can live for Him among our community and the nations.
We also want to encourage each family to be intentional with their time and involvement. While we long to see families grow in their love and service of Jesus, we also know that doesn’t always happen inside the walls of the church. Therefore, as you consider your involvement this fall – pray for wisdom, be intentional with your decisions, and commit to go deeper with Christ and His church.
MINISTRY HAPPENINGS

Membership Class

Ekklesia Conference
Join us September 12-13 at Heritage Baptist Church for the Ekklesia Conference – a gathering about the church, for the church. We’re excited to welcome Pastor Conrad Mbewe as our keynote speaker, who will share insights on biblical ecclesiology and explore what the Word of God teaches us about growing His church. Click here to register today.

Women's Bible Study
Our fall Bible study will be Displaying the Gospel of Grace, a study of the book of Titus by Courtney Doctor and Hunter Beless. Titus 2 reminds us that older women are to teach and train up the younger women, so with that as our guide, there will be some changes to our Tuesday morning format. We’re excited to move into the Chapel where we will have a time of praise and worship together and hear from various women in different life stages who will share part of their testimony or life’s journey with us each week. Also, we plan to have smaller, cross-generational groups to help us fulfill the Titus 2 mandate as we study it together. Click here to register today!
Click here if you would like to only purchase the book.

L.Y.D.I.A.
L.Y.D.I.A., Living Your Days in Abundance, is a group for widows and senior single women who seek a deeper relationship with God, a meaningful relationship with each other, and an impactful relationship with the community. Click here for more details on meeting times!

Men of Heritage Breakfast
Join the men of Heritage for a Saturday morning breakfast to hear from special guest Conrad Mbewe as he speaks to encourage the men of our church. There will be food, singing, and encouragement/challenge. The cost is $5/person. Register here today!
Scripture Memory Groups
Scripture memorization is a great way to meditate on God’s Word. It also gives you the truth as a weapon to combat the lies of the enemy. Scripture memorization isn’t always easy – it takes time and intentionality. Joining a scripture memory group is a great way to have encouragement and accountability to stick with it.

Tech Help Needed
We’re looking for help in these areas:
- Worship Center Screen Operator
- Worship Center Camera Operator
- BlastZone Tech Help (1 for audio, 1 for screens) Low pressure area!
A lot of people hear “Tech Team” and instantly disqualify themselves because they assume it’s too complicated. But for roles like the Screen Operator, it’s incredibly simple. Here’s the only “qualifications” needed:
- Can you read?
- Can you follow those words and click a mouse?
That’s it!
We’ve worked hard to make these positions very easy, and we never leave new folks alone. There’s always someone nearby to help if anything goes sideways.
Contact AVL@hbclynchburg.com for more information or to volunteer today!
