Death is an inescapable reality of this sin-cursed world. It plagues our existence in this world, and for those who die apart from Christ, it will continue to be felt in the next. For the man or woman who has placed their faith in the person and work of Jesus Christ, there is hope. While physical death may still be experienced, it does not have to cause us to fear for our Savior and King has defeated the full power of death. Therefore, we can look forward to the life we have after death. A life of eternal joy and pleasure in the presence of our glorious God.
