For more than thirty years the Lord has graciously and abundantly blessed our church through our children’s ministry’s annual summer camp, with multiple generations of our body enjoying the gift of fun and Christ-centered discipleship at camp.

Our camp program is run entirely by Heritage Kids Ministry volunteers who give a week of their time to serve our kids. All of the counselors, teachers, and nurses are individuals from HBC who are committed to creating a nurturing atmosphere where our kids can more deeply understand what God is inviting them to be and do for their joy in Jesus Christ. This is a week that has the potential to fast track our kids’ relationships with one another and with the volunteers who serve them in regular Sunday and Wednesday ministry.

Our camp’s host property is at Camp Oak Hill, which is less than two hours away from Lynchburg just on the other side of the North Carolina border. This is a first-rate property with clear evidence of ongoing investments to maintain and improve its facilities, and a professional staff on the grounds, in the office, and in the kitchen. The property is also quite large, which allows us to extend invitations to kids outside of Heritage.

Registration will open in April! Would you begin praying today about sending your kids? Camp will be held July 20–25, 2026, and is available for all rising 3rd through 7th graders. We hope to bring as many kids as possible this year so more children can hear the gospel, grow in their faith, and experience life transformation through the Word of God and the community of the body of Christ at camp. We encourage you to invite friends and neighbors to join your kids at camp!
