Church Family, 

On behalf of our student ministry, and more specifically our 2024 Summer Mission Teams, I want to extend a special thank you to all who made Trivia Night 2024 what it was! It gladdens my heart to see our teens seeing the church show up in full force to support them, and further joy is felt in seeing our teens serving our church people. So thank you so much for not just showing up for a fun night, but by your attendance showcasing to our youth ministry the beauty of the people of God!

Truly, Trivia Night has expanded beyond anything I could have envisioned years ago (450 people this year!). More than just a profitable fundraiser (though it is), it’s a very unique opportunity for our church to laugh together and to invite our community to be with us. Praise God for the communal growth that happens through Trivia Night, and for the many teens impacted by His generosity on display through you. We’ll do it again next year…and we will look forward to seeing you and your team there!

Mission Trip Details

This summer, HBC Student Ministries will be sending out two teams of teens to serve in the Lynchburg area and the Washington, DC area to “make followers of Jesus Christ by living the Gospel life among the nations.” 67 teens between the grades of 7th and 12th are on the Local Mission Trip team and will be serving in the Lynchburg area with our ministry partners, church members, and facilities team. 16 juniors and seniors who are a part of our Youth Disciple-Making Team will be serving in the Washington, DC area focusing on evangelism among unreached people groups. Please be praying for these two teams as they make Christ’s name known!
