Our Pastors

Pastor Keith

Keith was born in Hartland, New Brunswick, and he was saved at age seven through the influence of his Sunday School teacher and a Good News Bible Club. Keith met his wife, Judy, at an agricultural college in Montreal. After their wedding, Keith began a master’s degree and was planning to work in Australia when he was offered a government job in Prince Edward Island, Canada. Eventually, Keith and Judy bought the family farm in New Brunswick and they then added Shawn and Brent to their family. Both boys were adopted at just six weeks of age.

Sensing God’s call to full-time ministry, Keith later sold the farm and started working at the Wesleyan church where he had served for several years. While attending a Sunday School convention in Detroit, he met Dr. Elmer Towns, who suggested that he attend Liberty. Keith eventually graduated from seminary with a master’s in religious education (he also holds a master of science from McGill University in Montreal). In 1986, Dr. Kroll hired Keith as his first full-time staff member.

After 30 years of being on staff at Heritage, Keith now serves as the Pastor of Pastoral Care, while Judy volunteers in a variety of ministries. Keith's role includes overseeing the various care teams, going on visitations, and providing encouragement/counseling. In his spare time, Pastor Keith loves to hike, canoe, and camp. He and Judy have been blessed with four grandchildren.
